Browser or pinned: what actually differs

Both routes load the same lobby, the same live tables and the same cashier. The differences are practical rather than cosmetic.

The pinned version caches the interface, so the lobby opens without fetching the shell each time. It also drops the browser toolbar, which returns a strip of vertical pixels; on a leaderboard or a payments table those extra rows are the whole point.

It also keeps its own session: signing out in your browser does not sign you out of the icon on the home screen, which explains most cases of being logged in on one and not the other. Push notifications work only in the pinned version.

Adding it to the home screen

On iOS, open the site in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen and confirm the name. On Android, open the browser menu and choose Install app, or accept the prompt that appears after a minute of use. Nothing is downloaded from a store, and no permission is requested beyond notifications, which you can decline.

What a session costs in data

Slots are light. After the first load the artwork is cached and each spin exchanges little more than a request and a result, so a long slot session on mobile data is unremarkable.

Live dealer play is a different category altogether, because it is video. An hour at a streamed table moves orders of magnitude more data than an hour on a slot, and it drains the battery faster. On a metered connection, keep the live floor for Wi-Fi.

If the signal drops mid-round, a slot result is settled on the server and appears when you reconnect. A live table is less forgiving: the round continues without you and a missed betting window is simply missed.

What is missing compared with desktop

The lobby grid is narrower, so filters sit behind a menu and finding a qualifying title takes more scrolling. There is no side-by-side view, which rules out watching two live tables at once.

The real gap shows on leaderboards. A phone-sized standings table generally shows the top few places and your own row, and hides everything between. That means the figure you most need before deciding whether to keep playing, the score sitting at the last paid place, is exactly the one the small screen leaves out. Rotating to landscape or opening the board on a larger screen is the only reliable fix.

Notifications are a leaderboard tool

The alerts you accept at install are mostly promotional, and the most effective report a change in your position on a race. That is useful information if you had already decided to play, and a well-designed nudge if you had not.

Treat a notification as data, not as instruction. Nothing about a lost place changes the arithmetic of the board, and the alerts can be switched off in your phone settings without affecting anything else.

Playing safely on a phone

A phone removes every natural stopping point a desktop session has. Set deposit and session limits before you pin the icon, use the reminders at 30, 60 or 120 minutes, and keep biometric sign-in on so nobody else can open the account. Play is for adults of 18 and over.

Is there a real app in the App Store or on Google Play?

No, and none is needed. The pinned web app behaves like an installed application without going through a store or taking up meaningful storage.

Does the mobile version have fewer games?

No. The full library, including live tables, is available on a phone. Only the layout changes.

Why am I logged in on my phone browser but not the icon?

They keep separate sessions. Sign in once in each, or use the pinned version only.

Can I deposit and withdraw from the phone?

Yes. The cashier is identical, deposits start at C$15, and withdrawal requests are reviewed on the same schedule.

Will a dropped connection cost me a spin?

Not on slots, where the result is settled server-side and shown when you return. Live tables continue without you.
